We are a UK-headquartered FMCG food manufacturing business with an expanding international presence across the UK, India, USA, and other global markets. Our India office in Gurugram supports a growing commercial and operational function within the business.
We manufacture and distribute a wide range of branded ambient and ethnic food products including snacks, rice, noodles, sauces, pulses, and other staple food categories.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Gurugram.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to develop within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day finance operations and should have a good understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, strong attention to detail, and confidence using MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
We are looking for someone eager to learn and develop across broader accounting processes rather than purely invoice processing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance activities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Process invoices, reconciliations, and finance documentation accurately
- Support month-end reporting and ledger maintenance
- Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and follow-ups
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets using MS Excel
- Support the finance team with administrative and operational tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with internal finance procedures and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 1–3 years’ finance or accounting experience preferred
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
Preferred
- Previous experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or trading environments would be advantageous
- Candidates based in Gurugram or nearby areas preferred due to office location and travel requirements
Working Pattern
- Full-time, office-based role
- Monday to Friday
- 11:00am IST to 21:00pm IST
