About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a Solutions Engineer, you will consult with existing and prospective customers to identify the current state of their docking station programs, document current pain points, and collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with FlytBase's solutions. You will work closely with the business team, on opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof-of-concept presentations, RFP responses, and business justification in a presales capacity.
- In partnership with the Sales and Solutions Engineering team, you will help grow customers into FlytBase advocates and accelerate adoption through engagement strategies, training, and consultation. Your role will involve conducting analyses to determine the best paths for solving business problems and opportunities, which may include process improvements, system enhancements, user training on FlytBase's products, and integrations with third-party applications
- You will also collaborate with the Marketing team to conduct group training webinars and in-person sessions to educate customers on FlytBase's platform. Additionally, you will work with Marketing on customer testimonials, blogs, and case studies. Partnering with the product team, you will share crucial feedback from customers to help accelerate product development and ensure customer success and satisfaction
- A deep mastery of FlytBase's solutions is essential. You will address customer issues, resolving them in a timely and efficient manner. Acting as a support representative, you will interact with customers across various channels such as phone, email, and social media, ensuring that all valid customer concerns are promptly addressed
- You will highlight customer pain points and red flags to various internal teams as part of customer health monitoring, taking actionable steps to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will work on upsells and renewals with the respective account managers from the business team
Skills/Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree in Engineering: A solid technical foundation to understand and explain FlytBase's technology effectively
- Exceptional Written and Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an understandable way to clients and stakeholders, including C-suite and executive-level stakeholders
- Client Relations: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure customer success
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, with the ability to swiftly adjust to new challenges and changes in technology or project requirements. Superior organizational and time-management skills are essential
- Availability for Variable Hours: Willingness to work Monday to Friday with flexibility for variable hours due to the nature of the role and customer engagements
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of the customer's perspective and a passion for ensuring their success
- Systems Proficiency: Knowledgeable in business hardware and software platforms to ensure compatibility and efficiency, enabling seamless integration and operation of FlytBase's solutions
