About First Demat
First Demat is building a next-generation stock trading and investment platform focused on speed, reliability, and exceptional user experience. Our engineering team develops performance-critical mobile applications powered by real-time market data, WebSocket communication, ultra-low latency order execution, portfolio analytics, and AI-powered investing.
We're expanding our Flutter engineering team and hiring across multiple experience levels — from Flutter Developers to a Lead Mobile Engineer. Whether you're looking to grow as a Flutter developer or ready to lead our mobile platform's technical direction, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Build

Tech Stack

Responsibilities (scaled by experience level)
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Flutter applications
- Build responsive, high-performance mobile user experiences
- Integrate REST APIs and real-time WebSocket communication
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Dart code
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices (Senior & Lead roles)
- Lead technical decisions and design scalable Flutter architecture (Lead role)
Mandatory Requirements - All Roles
FinTech experience is required for every role (Trading, Brokerage, Banking, Payments, or WealthTech):
- Flutter Developer: minimum 1-2 years of FinTech experience
- Senior Flutter Developer: minimum 2-3 years of FinTech experience
- Lead Mobile Engineer: minimum 3+ years of FinTech experience
Experience in the broking or stock trading industry will be given strong preference across all roles.
Additional required skills:
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Experience with Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider
- Good understanding of mobile application architecture
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience building and maintaining production applications
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Skills
- Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets
- Experience with Flutter performance optimization
- Published applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, GraphQL, CI/CD, or Microservices
- Experience working in Agile teams

Flutter Developer (2 positions)
- 2-4 years of mobile application development

Senior Flutter Developer (1 position)
- 5-7 years of mobile application development
- Minimum 3 years of Flutter development
- Minimum 2-3 years of FinTech experience (mandatory)
- Experience mentoring developers and building production applications
Lead Mobile Engineer, Flutter (1 position)
- 8+ years of mobile application development
- Minimum 4 years of Flutter development
- Minimum 3+ years of FinTech experience (mandatory)
- Experience leading technical decisions, designing scalable architecture, and mentoring engineering teams
- Works closely with the CTO and backend engineering team
