Role Description
Handilii is looking for a Flutter Developer Intern for a full-time, on-site internship based in Indore.
As a Flutter Developer Intern, you will work closely with the development team to build, improve, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. You will get hands-on experience working on real-world features, API integrations, UI implementation, debugging, and application optimization.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Flutter screens, integrating APIs and back-end services, fixing bugs, testing application functionality, and collaborating with developers and other team members. You will also have the opportunity to learn industry-standard development practices, Git workflows, clean coding practices, and mobile app deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Convert UI designs into responsive and user-friendly Flutter interfaces.
- Integrate REST APIs and work with back-end services.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Debug and resolve application issues and technical problems.
- Test features and ensure smooth application performance.
- Work with Git and follow collaborative development practices.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Learn and follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to new features and improvements in existing applications.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Flutter and Dart.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic knowledge of mobile application development.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning.
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Flutter projects through academic, personal, or internship work.
- Familiarity with state management such as GetX, Provider, BLoC, or Riverpod.
- Basic knowledge of Firebase or other back-end services.
- Understanding of responsive UI development.
- A GitHub profile or personal Flutter projects is a plus.
