About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Flutter Developer to join WTF Gyms and take ownership of our mobile application. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of a high-quality, user-friendly app that supports our mission of transforming fitness experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a keen eye for design, and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to build, enhance, and maintain our mobile platform. Your contributions will directly impact thousands of users who rely on our app daily to achieve their fitness goals. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 2 years dedicated to Flutter. You should possess a strong command of Dart programming language and a solid understanding of Flutter widgets, animations, and custom UI components. Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod is essential. You should be proficient in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, with a good understanding of Firebase suite (Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications). Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools is required. A creative problem solver with a keen eye for design and a passion for quality assurance will thrive in this role. Additionally, knowledge of Android and iOS design principles and guidelines is important to ensure cross-platform consistency.
Responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of the WTF mobile application, ensuring a seamless experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Participate in all phases of the app lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment, taking full responsibility for the product’s quality and performance.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that enhance user engagement.
- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and mockups into pixel-perfect Flutter widgets, ensuring consistent UI/UX across devices.
- Integrate backend APIs to enable real-time communication and data synchronization, ensuring smooth and reliable app performance.
- Implement and manage state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod for logical workflows and data flow control.
- Optimize app performance by minimizing load times, ensuring smooth animations, and eliminating crashes through rigorous debugging and testing.
- Write comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to maintain high code quality and stability.
- Work closely with the product team, backend developers, and designers to brainstorm new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest Flutter development trends and incorporate innovative practices into the development process.
- Utilize tools like Flutter DevTools, Firebase Crashlytics, and Sentry to monitor app health and address performance issues proactively.
