About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end development of our flagship mobile application, ensuring it delivers an exceptional experience across both iOS and Android platforms. Your creative and technical expertise will be instrumental in designing stunning UI/UX, integrating robust APIs, and maintaining high-performance standards. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to innovate and enhance our app, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the fitness technology industry.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over four years of experience in mobile application development, with at least two years dedicated to Flutter. You should have a strong command of Dart programming language, Flutter widgets, animations, and custom UI components. Proven expertise in state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod is essential. Familiarity with RESTful API integration, third-party services, and Firebase suite (Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications) is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to debug, optimize, and scale applications for performance and stability. A solid understanding of design principles for both Android and iOS platforms, along with experience in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile product by developing, maintaining, and enhancing the WTF Gyms app to ensure a seamless experience across iOS and Android devices.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, taking responsibility for the app’s performance and stability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that delight users and align with brand standards.
- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and mockups into high-quality, pixel-perfect Flutter widgets that function consistently across devices and screen sizes.
- Integrate backend APIs to enable real-time data exchange, ensuring smooth communication between the app and server-side systems.
- Implement and manage state using solutions like Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod, to facilitate logical workflows and maintain app responsiveness.
- Optimize app performance through code refinement, efficient animations, and resource management, ensuring fast load times and crash-free operation.
- Utilize tools such as Flutter DevTools, Firebase Crashlytics, and Sentry for continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to uphold code quality and prevent regressions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to brainstorm new features, improve existing functionalities, and stay updated on the latest Flutter trends and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
