About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team at WTF Gyms. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end development of our mobile application, ensuring a high-quality, engaging, and reliable experience for our users. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a product that impacts thousands of fitness enthusiasts daily, utilizing your expertise in Flutter, Dart, and mobile app development best practices. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to craft visually stunning interfaces, optimize app performance, and implement innovative features that push the boundaries of mobile fitness technology.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of mobile application development experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to Flutter development for production-grade apps on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Proficiency in Dart programming language, Flutter widgets, animations, and custom UI components.
- Strong experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod.
- Hands-on experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services to facilitate seamless backend communication.
- Knowledge of Firebase suite, including Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications, and experience incorporating these tools into mobile apps.
- Excellent debugging, optimization, and scalability skills to ensure top-tier app performance.
- Understanding of design principles and platform-specific guidelines for Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- A creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the WTF Gyms mobile application, ensuring a seamless experience across iOS and Android devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect Flutter widgets that are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Integrate backend APIs efficiently, ensuring real-time data synchronization and smooth communication between the app and server-side components.
- Implement and manage complex state management solutions to maintain app stability and performance.
- Optimize app performance through code refinement, animation improvements, and load time reductions, utilizing tools like Flutter DevTools, Firebase Crashlytics, and Sentry.
- Write comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to maintain high code quality and facilitate continuous delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to brainstorm and implement new features that enhance user engagement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Flutter development, continually introducing innovative practices and technologies to the team.
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process.
- Ensure the app adheres to platform-specific design guidelines and best practices, delivering a consistent experience across devices.
