About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team at WTF Gyms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our flagship mobile application, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience. As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our app across both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to create a visually appealing, highly functional, and reliable product that aligns with our vision of revolutionizing fitness technology. Your expertise will directly impact millions of users who rely on our app daily for their health and wellness journey.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years dedicated to Flutter development for production-grade apps on iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in Dart programming language and extensive experience working with Flutter widgets, animations, and custom UI components.
- Strong understanding of state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration and third-party services to facilitate smooth data communication.
- Familiarity with Firebase suite including Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications, and their integration into mobile apps.
- Excellent debugging, optimization, and scaling skills to ensure high performance and stability of applications.
- Knowledge of Android and iOS design principles, guidelines, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- A creative problem solver with a keen eye for design and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the WTF Gyms mobile application, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across iOS and Android devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into pixel-perfect Flutter widgets, ensuring consistency and responsiveness across devices.
- Integrate backend APIs to enable real-time data updates, user interactions, and third-party service connections.
- Implement efficient state management solutions to handle complex logical workflows and ensure app stability.
- Optimize app performance by reducing load times, enhancing animations, and preventing crashes through rigorous testing and monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics and Flutter DevTools.
- Write comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to maintain high code quality and facilitate smooth deployment cycles.
- Work closely with product teams, backend developers, and designers to brainstorm new features and improve existing functionalities based on user feedback and industry trends.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Flutter and mobile development best practices, and introduce innovative techniques to enhance the app’s capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and contribute to a collaborative and agile development environment.
