About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team at WTF Gyms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our mobile application, ensuring it remains at the forefront of user experience, functionality, and performance. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our app across both iOS and Android platforms. Your expertise will directly impact thousands of users who rely on our app daily to stay motivated and achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, creative problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for design, enabling the delivery of a flawless digital experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years dedicated to Flutter development. You should have a strong command of Dart programming language, Flutter widgets, and custom UI components. Proven experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod is essential. You must be proficient in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, including Firebase suite (Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications). A solid understanding of both Android and iOS design principles and guidelines is required. Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools is also necessary. Additionally, you should be a creative problem solver with an eye for design and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile product by developing and maintaining the WTF Gyms app, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Contribute to all phases of the app lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate closely with designers to create visually compelling and intuitive interfaces that enhance user satisfaction.
- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and mockups into high-quality Flutter widgets that function flawlessly across diverse devices and screen sizes.
- Integrate backend APIs to enable real-time data communication, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information displayed within the app.
- Implement and manage state using tools like Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod to handle complex logical workflows efficiently.
- Optimize app performance through code improvements, efficient animations, and fast load times, minimizing crashes and bugs.
- Utilize performance monitoring tools such as Flutter DevTools, Firebase Crashlytics, and Sentry to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Write comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to maintain code stability and quality assurance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including product managers, backend developers, and QA—to brainstorm new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Flutter development, introducing innovative solutions to enhance the product.
- Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
