Schedule: Monday-Friday- 6am-3pm.

Role Summary
The Cultivation Technician I plays a vital role within the grow team, ensuring consistent production of high-quality plants that meet company standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. Under the supervision of the Cultivation Management team, the Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care and maintenance from propagation through flowering and harvest.
Key Responsibilities

Perform crop work and canopy maintenance as directed by the supervisor.

Maintain the health and vitality of plants from propagation through harvest.

Execute plant care activities including cloning, transplanting, pruning, feeding, trellising, flushing, labeling, and sanitation.

Ensure a disease- and pest-free environment.

Communicate priorities, issues, and solutions effectively with Cultivation and Propagation Supervisors.

Report concerns promptly through appropriate channels (email, phone, or text).

Support a culture of safety and injury prevention in all aspects of production work.

Foster positive working relationships through encouragement, collaboration, and feedback.

Assist in maintaining effective teamwork across departments when needed.
Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
-
1–3 years of nursery or horticulture experience preferred.

Strong initiative, self-direction, and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.

Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

General knowledge of weights, measures, and cultivation practices.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform tasks requiring standing, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in propagation, cultivation, and manufacturing environments. The position requires use of cultivation equipment as well as standard office tools. Flexibility is essential, as employees may be asked to support other departments to meet company needs and ensure timely patient access to product.
Physical Demands

Summary
A Cultivation Technician is a critical component of the grow team whose goal is to consistently produce high quality plants that meet company standards and while following all compliance requirements. The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care and maintenance from propagation through flowering stages including, but not limited to; cloning, transplanting, feeding, trellising, flushing, pruning, general canopy work and daily/room flip sanitation and under the supervision of the Cultivation Management team.
