Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
Experience: 5–8 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and capable Control Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in MATLAB/Simulink, control theory, and Model-Based Design (MBD) principles. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in the design, simulation, and testing of flight control and mechanical systems—particularly in UAV applications. If you have a background in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement flight control algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Apply Model-Based Design (MBD) for system-level modeling, simulation, and code generation.
- Develop, simulate, and test mechanical subsystems (motors, propellers, landing gear) integrated within UAV platforms.
- Perform system-level analysis, stability assessments, and dynamic response evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—embedded software, PCB design, mechanical—for seamless system integration.
- Conduct real-world testing and validation of flight control systems; analyze results and iterate on designs.
- Ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Document system architectures, models, design decisions, and test procedures.
- Support training and technical knowledge sharing across internal teams.
- Keep abreast of advancements in UAV control systems, sensor integration, and autonomous systems.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for control system design and simulation.
- Solid understanding of control theory, kinematics, and dynamics.
- Hands-on experience with Model-Based Design (MBD) methodologies, including code generation and validation.
- Prior exposure to flight control system design, especially for UAVs or autonomous platforms.
- Experience in mechanical systems integration and testing in real-world environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Control Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
