Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Flexo Printing Operator role based in Tiruvannamalai. The Flexo Printing Operator will set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing machines used to produce custom and high-volume paper bags, ensuring print quality, color accuracy, and registration. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing plates, inks, and substrates; performing test runs; adjusting machine settings; and maintaining optimal production speed while minimizing waste. The role involves routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with the production and quality teams to meet order specifications and deadlines. The operator will also follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and accurately document production data and machine maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Print Production and Printing, with experience operating flexographic or similar printing machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Printer Support and Inkjet, including basic troubleshooting, minor repairs, and adjustment of printing parameters.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Bindery, such as handling finishing processes, cutting, stacking, and packaging printed paper bags.
- Prior experience in packaging or paper bag manufacturing, especially in a high-volume environment, is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, technical specifications, and color standards.
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
- Willingness to work on-site in Tiruvannamalai with flexible shift availability as required by production schedules.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with safety practices in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
