Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Flexo Printing Machine Operator based in Agra, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation or production reporting. The Flexo Printing Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing machines used on non-woven fabrics, ensuring print quality, color accuracy, and adherence to production specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing printing plates and inks, loading and aligning material rolls, conducting test runs, and making adjustments to speed, tension, and registration. The role involves routine machine cleaning and minor maintenance, identifying and resolving print defects, and following safety and quality control procedures. The operator will work closely with the production and quality teams to meet output targets, maintain records of runs and materials used, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating flexo printing machines or similar printing equipment, including machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of printing processes for packaging or non-woven materials, with understanding of color matching, registration, and print quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret production orders, specifications, and basic technical drawings, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Awareness of workplace safety practices, safe handling of inks and chemicals, and adherence to quality and hygiene protocols.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on printing machinery.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in Agra, including shift-based on-site work as required by production schedules.
- Prior experience in printing, packaging, or non-woven fabric manufacturing is preferred; vocational training or certification in printing technology or a related field is an advantage.
