Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a skilled Transition Manager, the consultant will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and
monitoring of complex organizational and/or technological transitions. This role requires a
highly organized and proactive individual with strong project management, communication, and
stakeholder management skills. The Transition Manager will ensure minimal disruption to
business operations during the transition process, while achieving the desired outcomes within
defined timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transition Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
Define clear transition objectives and success criteria.
Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks and challenges.
Create detailed transition roadmaps and milestones.
Lead and manage all aspects of the transition project, ensuring adherence to
project management methodologies.
Monitor project progress, identify and address potential delays or issues.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the transition.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior
management, department heads, and external partners.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address
concerns.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
Manage change management aspects of the transition.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with the transition.
Develop and implement contingency plans.
Proactively address issues and escalate as necessary.
- Communication and Training:
Develop and deliver clear and concise communication plans to inform
stakeholders about the transition.
Coordinate and deliver training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new
processes or systems.
Create and maintain transition documentation.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of the transition.
Provide ongoing support and address any post-transition issues.
Document lessons learned for future transitions.
Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or related certifications preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in transition management, project management
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software
- Knowledge of change management principles.
