Freelance Manufacturing Consultant - Bathware (Client Hire)

Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organisations seeking independent talent.

Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a manufacturing and procurement expert with deep experience in tiles and bathware manufacturing in India to support a plant diagnostic and opportunity sizing exercise.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Review procurement and vendor management practices to improve cost-effectiveness and supply reliability.
• Travel to plant locations (Morbi and near Hyderabad) for on-ground diagnostics and opportunity identification.
• Help quantify the impact of potential improvements across operations and cost areas.
• Provide insights on S&OP processes (if applicable), including planning, inventory, and coordination.
• Work closely with the consulting team to validate findings and support client discussions and presentations.

Note -

Project duration: 3 weeks

Location: Travel will be near Rajkot (place called Morbi) and also near Hyderabad.

Capacity: 4-5 days elapsed time over a 3-week period. This involves 2 days of plant visit, 2 days of interactions with client and internal coaching and client presentations

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of tile and bathware industry dynamics in India.
• Experience in channel development and dealer/distributor network management (B2B and B2C).
• Proven track record in brand positioning, marketing strategy, and market expansion.
• Ability to design and execute go-to-market strategies across diverse customer segments.
• Knowledge of retail, institutional, and project-based sales models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for client interactions and internal workshops.
