Freelance Devops Engineer (Client Hire)

Flexing It has partnered with Our Client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the AI Hub Technology ML Engineering team. The role involves delivering Infrastructure-As-Code cloud services and maintaining a robust CI/CD stack. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a remote team based in France.

Location: Bangalore preferred (remote can be considered)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Infrastructure-As-Code solutions using Terraform.

Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions & workflows.

Develop comprehensive Python applications beyond simple automation scripts.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS & Azure.

Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software and infrastructure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition to production.

Work within agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

Communicate effectively with global teams and provide clear technical documentation.

Duration: 9 months

Work Timing: Flexibility to work in France time occasionally

Skills Required

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, and CI/CD pipeline development.

Strong hands-on experience in developing Python applications.

Expertise in AWS & Azure cloud environments.

Proficiency in Terraform for automation.

Deep understanding of GitHub Actions & workflows for CI/CD.

Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Experience in run phases to handle production transitions smoothly.

Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek help.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of Databricks integration on AWS or Azure.

Experience working in remote and globally distributed teams.
