Freelance Azure Expert (Client Hire)

Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a leading global specialist in energy management and automation, is looking to engage with a Consultant – Azure Expert for a deliverable-based assignment. The consultant will be responsible for integrating Power BI dashboards into an external-facing Angular web application. The ideal candidate should possess a strong logical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on expertise in Azure and Power BI services.

Key Responsibilities;

• Integrate interactive Power BI dashboards into an external-facing Angular web application using embedded analytics.
• Set up and manage authentication and authorization for secure access using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), including role-based access control.
• Configure Azure services (App Services, API Management, Azure Functions) to support seamless Power BI embedding and web integration.
• Design and implement secure APIs using Node.js to enable backend communication with Power BI Service and other Azure components.
• Collaborate with frontend Angular developers to ensure smooth rendering and interactivity of embedded Power BI reports.
• Troubleshoot embedding errors, performance issues, and resolve configuration conflicts.
• Document the integration process, including configurations, deployment steps, and security controls.

Skills Required

• Experience with Power BI Embedded and REST APIs
• Strong in Azure AD, App Services, and Functions
• Proficient in Angular and Node.js
• Able to troubleshoot integration and performance issues
• Strong communication and documentation skills
