Duties and responsibilities
● Own the Mobile Roadmap: Define the technical vision and roadmap for our mobile app, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
● Architect & Develop: Lead the design and development of a high-performance React Native application from scratch.
● Mentor & Guide: Manage a small team of mobile developers, ensuring code quality, best practices, and scalability.
● Optimize Performance: Ensure a smooth and performant app experience by fine-tuning animations, API interactions, and memory management.
● Secure & Compliant: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with fintech
regulations.
● Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver a seamless user
experience.
Requirements and Skill Sets
● Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, React Navigation and REST APIs.
● Hands-on experience with native modules (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) is a plus.
● Deep understanding of mobile performance optimization, debugging, and testing (Jest, Detox, etc.).
● Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and app tracking tools.
● Fintech experience or knowledge of secure transactions, payment gateways, and compliance is a plus.
● Ability to lead, mentor and drive a team of mobile developers towards successful execution.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a product-first mindset.
Qualification and Experience:
● 8+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 3 years in React Native.
