Job Title: HR & Shop Floor Operations Manager
Location:Ambattur, Chennai

About the Role
We are looking for a highly disciplined and result-oriented HR & Shop Floor Operations Manager to handle manpower management, workforce discipline, and daily factory operations in our manufacturing unit.
The candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and practical experience in handling blue-collar workforce, including migrant labour teams. The role requires maintaining productivity, ensuring workflow discipline, and improving operational efficiency on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage factory workers and helpers on the shop floor
- Maintain workforce discipline, attendance, productivity, and shift coordination
- Ensure employees perform responsibilities efficiently as per company standards
- Handle labour-related issues, conflict resolution, and worker coordination
- Monitor daily workflow and ensure smooth production operations
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and management teams
- Recruit and manage manpower as per operational requirements
- Implement systems and processes to improve work culture and accountability
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and labour regulations
- Maintain reports related to attendance, workforce productivity, and labour management
Candidate Requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in manufacturing or flexible packaging industry preferred
- Ability to handle both male and female workforce effectively
- Experience managing migrant labour/workers is an advantage
- Strong personality with commanding and supervisory capabilities
- Ability to enforce discipline while maintaining professional work culture
- Knowledge of factory operations and manpower productivity management
- Minimum 5+ years experience in HR / Factory Operations / Workforce Management
Preferred Skills
- Tamil, English, and Hindi communication preferred
- ERP or factory reporting knowledge is an added advantage
- Problem-solving mindset with hands-on operational approach
Compensation
Salary: Up to ₹60,000/month (based on experience and capability)
