SAM Tool experience in - Flexera One / FNMS (Cloud & On‑Prem)
Experience: 3–8 years
About the role
Candidates with end‑to‑end administration, upgrades, integrations, and advanced customization across Flexera One ITAM / FNMS, IT Visibility (ITV), SaaS Management, and Cloud Cost Optimization (CCO).
What you’ll do
- Flexera One (Cloud) – Admin & Integrations: Tenant setup, SSO, API keys, operate Inventory Beacons (connectivity, certs, scheduling, throttling, failover), configure data ingestion (Business/Inventory adapters), monitor System Tasks/Reconciliation and data quality.
- SaaS Management: Onboard OAuth/SSO connectors (M365, Okta, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoom, Slack), normalize entitlements, usage/owner mapping, reclamation workflows.
- IT Visibility (ITV): Taxonomy/normalization, hardware/software enrichment, business‑service mapping, dashboards.
- Core FNMS: Install/upgrade/configure; manage IIS/Windows Server, MS SQL, agents/beacons; Business Adapter Studio and inventory adapters (mapping, transformations, error handling).
- Integrations: CMDB, SCCM/MECM, Intune, ServiceNow, BMC, vCenter, AD, Azure/AWS/GCP and other 3rd part tools.
- Customization & Development: Build custom reports/dashboards; SQL/PowerShell automations; REST API/Data Explorer/Exports; implement custom license metrics & rules (e.g., IBM PVU sub‑capacity, Oracle NUP/Processor, CCU, Microsoft CALs, User, Storage etc..) for accurate ELPs in FNMS/Flexera One ITAM.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years hands‑on Flexera One & FNMS admin (install/upgrade/config; adapters/connectors; beacon/agent operations).
- Strong SQL (MS SQL Server), PowerShell, Windows Server/IIS, REST/JSON APIs; ETL with CSV/XML.
- Certifications: Flexera One/FNMS Administration & Operations.
Nice to have
- Enterprise licensing expertise (Oracle/IBM/Microsoft/SAP/Adobe/VMware) and audit/ELP experience.
- Flexera Policies/webhooks automation.
- CCO: Integrate AWS (CUR), Azure (Cost Management/EA), GCP (Billing Export); tagging strategy, cost allocation, RI/SP, right‑sizing, anomaly/budget policies.
