Job Title: Flexera Lead Architect (ITAM / SAM)

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Flexera Lead Architect with strong
expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management
(ITAM). The candidate will lead requirement gathering, solution design, and
implementation of Flexera solutions, ensuring governance, compliance, and
optimization of software assets across enterprise environments.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Lead requirement gathering and technical/functional workshops with stakeholders
• Prepare SAM BRDs, define processes, and establish governance frameworks
• Analyze current software inventory baseline, entitlements, and publisher data
• Design High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for discovery
architecture
• Architect and configure Flexera components (Beacons, Servers, Agents)
• Define integration mapping, data models, and governance standards
• Configure discovery jobs, business rules, and data imports
• Implement license rules, ELP (Effective License Position), and dashboards
• Enable integration with SaaS consoles and license portals
• Establish workflows for entitlement ingestion, reconciliation, and compliance
reporting
• Ensure data quality best practices and taxonomy for top software publishers
• Collaborate with Flexera teams for end-to-end implementation across on-prem,
cloud, DMZ, and Kubernetes environments
3. Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiables)
• Strong experience as Flexera Lead Architect / ITAM Architect
• Hands-on expertise in Flexera ITAM / FlexNet Manager Suite
• Deep knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and compliance
• Experience in Discovery Architecture (Beacons, Agents, Servers)
• Strong understanding of license models, entitlements, and ELP calculations
• Experience with integrations, data models, and governance frameworks
• Hands-on experience in data imports, license rules, and custom dashboards
4. Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM integration
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container environments
(Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of automation and DevOps practices
• Experience with top software publisher licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM)
5. Candidate Profile
Experience Range: 8–10 Years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
