Summary
The General Service Associate provides essential labor support across multiple production departments, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging. This position is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Essential Functions
- Provide labor support in key production areas, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging
- Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive manufacturing tasks
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
- Safely operate hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, and other equipment
- Load and unload parts from production equipment
- Hang and remove parts from the paint line
- Detail parts after welding and painting to meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring
- Occasionally lift materials over 25 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, handling, and repetitive movement
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

- Temperatures within the facility may vary seasonally and can become elevated during warmer months due to production operations
