Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fleet Team Leader based in Bhubaneswar. The Fleet Team Leader will oversee daily fleet operations, ensure optimal utilization and timely maintenance of vehicles, coordinate with team members and drivers, and manage compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring fleet performance, developing operational strategies, and resolving any logistical challenges to uphold service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong management and leadership skills to lead and motivate fleet personnel effectively
- Knowledge of fleet operations, transportation planning, and logistics management
- Experience with maintenance scheduling, vehicle compliance standards, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in record-keeping, reporting, and using fleet management systems or software
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination and client interaction
- Familiarity with the Indian transportation network and regulatory compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Prior experience in fleet management or a similar logistics role is an advantage
