Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Fleet Relations Executive to strengthen relationships with fleet operators, transport companies, logistics businesses, and commercial vehicle owners across Chennai and surrounding regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about business development, customer engagement, and the commercial vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, transport companies, logistics businesses, and individual truck owners.
- Generate new business opportunities through field visits, customer meetings, referrals, and networking.
- Promote RAK MOTORS' vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, repairs, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), and genuine spare parts.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand maintenance requirements and recommend appropriate service solutions.
- Coordinate closely with workshop, service advisors, and operations teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, service proposals, and follow up on customer enquiries and pending approvals.
- Maintain customer records, service history, and sales activities using company systems.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify business growth opportunities.
- Support local marketing campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and fleet service programs.
- Achieve monthly customer acquisition and business development targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management in the Automotive Industry.
- Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills and an interest in commercial vehicles are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai and nearby areas for customer visits.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and eager to build long-term customer relationships.
Knowledge of commercial vehicles, fleet operations, logistics, or transportation industries.
- Familiarity with truck servicing, preventive maintenance, and workshop operations.Also Experience working with TATA commercial vehicles is an added advantage.
