Role Description
This is an on-site, contract-based role located in Kodaikanal for a Fleet Manager. The Fleet Manager will oversee and optimize delivery operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include managing delivery executives, monitoring fleet performance, planning resource scheduling, and ensuring timely deliveries with minimum disruptions. The role involves handling operational challenges, maintaining service quality, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in team management, resource allocation, and operational oversight
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in logistics planning and fleet optimization strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance within fleet operations
- Proficiency in data analysis and basic software tools to monitor and improve processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in fleet or delivery management is an advantage
