Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Fleet Manager. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and optimizing fleet performance. Day-to-day tasks include planning and coordinating vehicle usage, monitoring maintenance schedules, managing costs and budgets, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role also involves analyzing data to improve processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations, with expertise in managing vehicles and optimizing schedules
- Working knowledge of DOT Regulations to ensure compliance with safety and legal standards
- Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills for process improvement and efficiency
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating teams and maintaining records
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced on-site environment
- Previous experience in logistics or transportation management is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
