Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Maintenance role based in Vadodara. The role involves performing routine and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, carrying out preventive maintenance schedules, and handling maintenance and repair tasks as needed. The position requires diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting faults, coordinating with operations teams to plan downtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. The fleet maintenance professional is expected to follow safety guidelines, comply with company standards, and support continuous improvement in fleet performance and uptime.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for fleet vehicles and associated systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and general Maintenance to manage scheduled service and upkeep activities.
- Candidates should possess practical Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in automotive, mechanical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Experience working with commercial vehicles, trailers, or container transport equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work collaboratively with operations and logistics teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmentally responsible maintenance practices.
