Position Description:
The Fleet IT Executive will be the main point of contact for all Fleet IT operations, providing daily support for Fleet IT hardware, software, network and access issues.
The role is responsible for managing IT incidents, including escalation when needed and ensuring all tickets are tracked and resolved on time in line with KPIs and service levels. Regular KPI updates to be provided to management, along with analysis of issues to support continuous improvement.
The Fleet IT Executive will also support the Fleet Operations Team in IT audits, class surveys and internal reviews, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary IT focal point for Fleet IT matters.
- Provide daily IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and access issues.
- Escalate unresolved IT issues and track to resolution.
- Ensure all IT practices comply with corporate IT policies, cybersecurity, and data
- governance requirements.
- Support Fleet IT audits, compliance checks and internal reviews.
- Monitor and track all IT incidents, requests, and service issues.
- Provide periodic IT status updates to Fleet Team and management.
- Ensure timely prioritization, follow-up, and closure of IT tickets.
- Analyse trending issues to identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Deputy General Manager and Fleet Manager.
Requirements:
- 2 year of experience in IT support or technical support.
- Proficient in resolving daily hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Maritime IT / offshore experience preferred
- CCNA / CCNP
- Microsoft / Azure
- Strong knowledge of:
- VSAT / satcom systems
- Firewall & VPN / Networking
- Microsoft 365 / Azure
- Endpoint security

- Demonstrates strong teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Job Demands and/or Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift computers and have sufficient mobility to complete cabling and setup tasks.
- Some extra hours required
- Occasion travel to visit vessels
