Role Description The Fleet Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, including assigning routes, tracking vehicle movement, monitoring driver schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries. The Fleet Coordinator works closely with drivers, operations teams, and customer support to resolve issues, minimize delays, and maintain service quality. Typical responsibilities include updating fleet records, coordinating maintenance and inspections, managing incident reports, and optimizing utilization of vehicles and delivery staff. The role also involves communicating status updates, addressing customer-related delivery concerns, and supporting continuous improvement of operational processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, including route planning, scheduling, and basic vehicle utilization tracking.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with drivers, internal teams, and customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to handle daily logistics activities, monitor performance metrics, and support process improvements.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or last-mile delivery operations is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, fleet management or routing software, and digital communication tools is preferred.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an advantage but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
