Description
FLANDERS is seeking a driven, process-oriented commercial leader to serve as our Director of Revenue for an assigned region. This role is responsible for leading the regional sales engine and delivering revenue growth through disciplined execution, strong leadership, and data-driven decision making.
The Director of Revenue leads a regional commercial team that includes:
- Account Managers
- Regional Business Development Managers (RBDMs)
- Inside Sales Manager
This role is accountable for overall regional commercial performance, including pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, customer growth, and revenue attainment.
What You’ll Do
Lead Regional Revenue Performance
- Own regional revenue targets and commercial performance
- Drive accountability across pipeline generation, bookings, invoicing, and customer growth
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews, forecasting discussions, and opportunity strategy sessions
- Monitor and improve key commercial metrics including:
- Revenue growth
- Funnel conversion
- Win rates
- Forecast accuracy
- Pipeline health
- Customer retention
Lead and Develop the Commercial Team
- Directly lead and develop:
- Account Managers
- Regional Business Development Managers
- Inside Sales Manager
- Build a culture of urgency, accountability, responsiveness, and execution
- Coach team members on opportunity strategy, customer engagement, and pipeline management
- Drive clear expectations and measurable performance standards
Drive Process Discipline
- Lead execution of FLANDERS’ structured sales process and commercial operating model
- Ensure CRM discipline, data integrity, and visibility into team activity
- Standardize regional sales execution around:
- Opportunity management
- Territory planning
- Forecasting
- Pipeline management
- Customer follow-up cadence
- Partner with Inside Sales to ensure strong coordination across customer touchpoints and commercial activity
Collaborate Across the Business
- Work closely with Operations, Service, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership
- Align customer commitments with operational capabilities
- Support strategic deal development and customer growth initiatives
- Provide leadership visibility into market trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Requirements
Experience
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience with direct revenue accountability
- Experience leading commercial teams in:
- Heavy industry
- Mining
- Manufacturing
- Industrial services
- Proven success leading both hunter-style business development and account management teams
- Experience operating within structured, process-driven sales environments
