Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fitter role based in Ahmedabad. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment and plant components. Tasks include interpreting technical drawings, conducting inspections, fabricating parts, repairing structures, and maintaining operational efficiency. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining all tools and machinery in good working condition will also be part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge in assembly, installation, and maintenance of industrial equipment and components.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and working with technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Skilled at using hand tools, measuring instruments, and operating machinery relevant to fitting tasks.
  • Basic understanding of metallurgy and material characteristics is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving mechanical and operational issues.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience in industrial manufacturing, machining, or metallurgical environments is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in an industrial setting.
