Role Description
Manager is responsible for managing daily fitness centre operations, delivering exceptional member experience, and leading team performance. This role ensures operational excellence, high service standards, and alignment with business goals while driving member and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance
Manage staff schedules, classes, and facility upkeep
Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Monitor equipment maintenance and service quality
Drive end-to-end member journey: onboarding, engagement, and retention
Understand member goals and ensure personalized service delivery
Promote programs, events, and wellness initiatives
Capture and act on member feedback (weekly/monthly)
Hire, train, and manage trainers and support staff
Conduct performance reviews and support team development
Build a high-performance, collaborative team environment
Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and cross-training
Resolve member/staff concerns within 24 hours
Escalate critical issues to GM with timely updates
Ensure proactive communication and resolution tracking
Maintain hygiene, safety, and emergency readiness standards
Ensure team awareness of CPR, evacuation protocols, and emergency contacts
Conduct regular audits of facility and service quality
- Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate data (CRM, utilization, performance metrics)
Share daily, weekly, and monthly reports with stakeholders
Support administrative processes and organizational hierarchy
Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency
Support planning and execution of wellness initiatives
Align team deliverables with business objectives
Key Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in fitness/wellness operations or hospitality
- Strong leadership, team management, and client-handling skills
- Good understanding of fitness services and member engagement
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response
- Willingness to travel across client locations

Remuneration: 40k per month
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Group Exercise and Group Training techniques to create dynamic and inclusive fitness sessions
- Strong background in the Fitness Industry and Personal Training to inspire clients and lead by example
- Knowledge of Exercise Physiology and fitness science to design effective, personalized training plans
- Proven leadership and team management skills to supervise a team of trainers and staff
- Ability to establish client connections and maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere
- Relevant certifications in fitness training or personal training (e.g., ACE, ISSA, or NSCA)
- Prior managerial experience in a fitness, wellness, or health-focused environment is a plus
