Role Description The Fitness Coach role at Shadows.Fit is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Fitness Coach will design and deliver safe, effective workout programs for individuals and groups, focusing on correct form, progressive training, and sustainable results. Daily responsibilities include leading group exercise sessions, offering one-on-one fitness instruction, providing basic nutrition guidance aligned with company philosophy, and tracking client progress. The coach will actively engage with the Shadows.Fit community, support outreach initiatives such as workshops or free sessions, and contribute to an environment that educates, motivates, and empowers members of all ages. Collaboration with other coaches and continuous learning to improve training methods are integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to lead safe, engaging, and scalable sessions for diverse age groups and fitness levels.
- Proficiency in Fitness Training and practical experience designing structured programs that improve strength, mobility, endurance, and overall health.
- Knowledge of Nutrition principles and the ability to provide basic, evidence-informed guidance that supports sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Understanding of the Fitness Industry, including current best practices, ethical coaching standards, and client-centered approaches.
- Relevant certification in fitness training, personal training, or group exercise from a recognized institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, educate, and build trust with clients and community members.
- Ability to demonstrate and teach proper exercise technique, with a strong focus on safety and injury prevention.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed for sessions and community events.
- Previous experience coaching adults and/or children in a gym or sports environment is preferred.
