Role Overview
We are looking for a Tech Intern – Platform Engineering to support the development and management of our internal technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for students interested in DevOps, infrastructure, self-hosting, and platform engineering, and who want hands-on experience working with modern cloud and open-source technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Setup
- Assist in setting up and maintaining development and production environments
- Support infrastructure deployment using virtualization and container technologies
- Monitor system performance and reliability
Platform Development
- Help design and maintain internal tools and platforms used by the company
- Contribute to platform architecture and improvements
DevOps & Automation
- Support CI/CD pipeline setup and automation workflows
- Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and infrastructure management
Security & Data Privacy
- Assist with implementing security best practices across systems
- Support data protection, backups, and secure infrastructure configuration
Documentation
- Maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure and processes
- Document setup guides, workflows, and operational procedures
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Basic Linux system administration
- Familiarity with Docker / containerization
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of virtualization (Proxmox / KVM preferred)
- Interest in open-source tools and self-hosting
- Basic shell scripting or Python
Additional Skills
- Understanding of DevOps principles and automation
- Awareness of security and data privacy practices
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
Eligibility
- Open only to 3rd-year or final-year students
- Students from Computer Science, IT, or related technical fields preferred
