You are responsible for unloading and loading materials from trailers and storage areas, ensuring materials are handled safely. You will also check that materials are packaged correctly, are not damaged, and are up-to-date in the computer systems by entering data into the computer systems and on a timely basis, as well as organizing and maintaining inventory.
You will do this by:
- Loading and unloading materials and/or pallets from trailers or designated storage units, using proper lifting equipment
- Entering data into the computer systems on time
- Ensuring materials are labeled and packaged properly
- Maintaining inventory, ensuring it is up to date
- Performing general maintenance and cleanup of working areas
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Performing operator maintenance and/or 5S housekeeping per established schedules

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with tape measure
- Ability to use basic math to analyze information
- Experience with computer systems
- Minimum of 2+ Year on a forklift in manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years’ or more experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience handling materials (raw bar stock)
- Experience with EPICOR
Physical | Visual Demands:
- Regularly walk, stand and sit.
- Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment, loud noises.
- Outside 70% of the time- Exposed to the elements
