The RoleThis is an entry-level position, responsible for software testing and automation on our on-premise, mobile, and/or cloud-based inventory software products. You will be directly involved in writing test cases, as well as their execution and automation script creation. You will also actively develop your subject matter expertise on technical and QA areas such as automation and GenAI. You will be measured by your contribution to team goals and projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals new to the field to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.ResponsibilitiesWork within a team of Software Quality engineers, focusing on testing and delivering products.Help generate test plans, and collaborate with the team on test case writing and manual testing.Identify, document, and track software defects and issues through the entire testing lifecycle.Create automation scripts for manual test case flows based on test plans.Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights from testing results and regression runs.Participate in agile meetings and activities including the daily stand-up meeting, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectivesRequirementsDemonstrated experience analyzing complex systems and determining areas for testing.Able to identify patterns and trends within layered data and systems to uncover potential issues.Proficient in breaking down requirements into testable components for effective validation.Existing knowledge of UI automation tools, preferably Selenium.Prior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment is preferred. Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent and 0 to 1 year of experience working with commercial software or customer-facing products in a team setting is required.
