Data Engineer - Big Data

Job Title Data Engineer - Big Data What does a successful Data Engineer - Big Data do at Fiserv? You will leverage modern big data and machine learning tech to design and build scalable, intelligent data solutions that enable impactful, data driven decision making. What you will do: Design and build scalable data pipelines using big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Spark, Airflow) to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Clean, transform, and model raw data from multiple sources to make it analysis-ready, supporting internal teams and external-facing data products. Set up and manage BI tools like Amazon QuickSight, enabling self-service analytics, dashboards, and storytelling for both internal users and clients. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, analysts, and data scientists to develop data solutions that drive business outcomes and can be commercialized. Ensure data governance, quality, and security while building reusable frameworks and components that accelerate data product development. What you will need to have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field. 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and manipulation. Hands on experience with modern data platform and tools (Snowflake, Spark and AWS). What would be great to have: Experience with PySpark Experience with Palantir Foundry How you will work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday.
