About the role

The Employee Relations Advisor Specialist is responsible for providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on a range of employee relations issues including, but not limited to, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management, and other HR processes. The role will require liaising with HR Business Partners, Line Managers and other HR teams to provide solutions and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide proactive and responsive advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence management and other HR processes - Investigate and manage employee relations cases, including leading disciplinary and grievance investigations - Participate in and contribute to employee relations case conferences and discussions to develop appropriate recommendations and solutions - Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately and consistently - Contribute to the development and review of employee relations policies and procedures - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and case notes in compliance with data protection and company standards - Prepare correspondence and documentation for employee relations cases, including outcome letters - Build effective working relationships with line managers and other HR team members - Provide advice, guidance and support to help managers effectively manage employee relations matters - Contribute to the continuous improvement of employee relations practices and processes within the organization - Act as a coach and mentor to provide guidance and support to the wider HR team on employee relations matters
