In this Role You Will
- Develop and implement customized financial plans aligned with client objectives and measurable financial goals.
- Conduct research on investment products and market trends to support informed decision-making and portfolio optimization.
- Prepare client reports and presentations that clearly communicate financial strategies and performance outcomes.
- Facilitate client onboarding and ensure accurate documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively recommend adjustments to enhance returns and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless and responsive client service.
- Stay current on financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development, including pursuit of required industry certifications.
Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Internship or part-time experience in financial services preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
- Interest in pursuing industry certifications such as CFP®, CFA®, or Series 7/66.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and technical journals.
- Strong mathematical skills, including computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs.
- Sound reasoning ability to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
- Client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
- Understanding of investment products, asset allocation, and portfolio management strategies.
- Ability to monitor and interpret market trends, economic indicators, and related events.
- Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize financial data.
- High ethical standards and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
