Join a family-owned bank with $4–$6 billion in assets under management as a Wealth Management Representative. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about financial planning, investment strategy, and client service. You’ll support senior advisors in delivering personalized wealth management solutions, helping clients achieve their financial goals through thoughtful planning and relationship-building.

In this Role You Will

  • Develop and implement customized financial plans aligned with client objectives and measurable financial goals.
  • Conduct research on investment products and market trends to support informed decision-making and portfolio optimization.
  • Prepare client reports and presentations that clearly communicate financial strategies and performance outcomes.
  • Facilitate client onboarding and ensure accurate documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor client portfolios and proactively recommend adjustments to enhance returns and mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless and responsive client service.
  • Stay current on financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development, including pursuit of required industry certifications.

Qualifications, Competencies and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Internship or part-time experience in financial services preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
  • Interest in pursuing industry certifications such as CFP®, CFA®, or Series 7/66.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and technical journals.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs.
  • Sound reasoning ability to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Understanding of investment products, asset allocation, and portfolio management strategies.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret market trends, economic indicators, and related events.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize financial data.
  • High ethical standards and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing market environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, financial planning tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on responsiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, professional financial presentations and reports.

The range for this role takes into account many factors that First Bank considers when making hiring decisions, including but not limited to prior experience, skill set, training, and other internal business and organizational factors. First Bank generally does not hire at or near the top of the stated range. The range is driven by the geographic location of the anticipated hiring location; however, the specific range may vary depending on the geographic location for remote positions. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each hiring instance.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $21.85 - $26.77
