Hours: Part Time (Open availability and weekends required)
Compensation: $17.13/hour

Position Summary
The Dishwasher’s main responsibility is to wash the dishes, pots and pans generated by our kitchen. Additional responsibilities include cleaning the hood filters and all closing cleaning duties including: moving mats, sweeping and mopping the floors and emptying garbage cans, sanitizing all surfaces in the dish station, shutting down and cleaning out the sanitizer machine. In addition, the Dishwasher may be asked to assist in food prep, food production and packaging. Dishwasher is a vital support position in our fast-paced kitchen. Dishwashers are expected to be productive while working independently.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to lift 50#
Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures, especially safety
Commercial kitchen dishwasher experience preferred
Ability to safely and properly assemble the commercial cheese/meat slicer, food processor and mixer
Must possess current Food Handlers Card
Ability to work as a cooperative team member
Ability to communicate clearly, follow directions, make positive suggestions, and be open to instruction
Ability to prioritize tasks
Must possess excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in wet and sometimes humid conditions
Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Dish Washing:
Wash dishes in a timely manner, making sure they are sufficiently dry before restocking.
Keep clean dishes, pots, etc, organized, stacked for easy access and placed where they belong.
Cleaning grill filters weekly
All closing cleaning duties, including: sanitizing surfaces, moving mats, sweeping and mopping all floors, including under the sinks, emptying the garbage cans, and cleaning floor drains.
Taking on any external cleaning projects as asked such as cleaning racks or shelves in the kitchen.
Work closely with Kitchen staff to provide clean dish needs in a friendly and helpful manner.
Kitchen Work:
Perform basic food prep and production of vegetarian, vegan and meat-containing menu items, as assigned.
Handle ingredients in accordance with Food Handler’s Guidelines.
Maintain a clean, safe work area by frequently cleaning all equipment, including but not limited to workspace, coolers, utensils, cutting boards, etc.
Ensures all dishes are thoroughly dried before being stacked.
Complete assigned duties throughout the day with the most efficiency possible.
Thoroughly clean work-station, shut down and clean dishwasher
Ensure all faucets are turned off at the end of each shift.
Communicate dishwashing supply needs in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
