Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Firmware Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging embedded firmware for IoT devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, troubleshoot and optimize code for performance, ensure seamless firmware integration with hardware, and contribute to end-to-end product development pipelines. This role requires hands-on problem-solving and active participation in ensuring smooth functionality of Proxgy's innovative technological solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in embedded systems development, including strong knowledge of C/C++ programming and experience with microcontrollers and RTOS.
- Experience with electronics hardware integration and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Understanding of IoT protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, or BLE, and proficiency in developing IoT device firmware.
- Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development lifecycle processes.
- Ability to design robust, efficient, and scalable firmware architecture that ensures system reliability and performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with a detail-oriented approach to project management.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) and hardware-software integration.
- Previous experience or understanding of AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or related areas is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
