About the Role:
Lead the development of embedded firmware for power electronic inverters driving traction motors (PMSM, BLDC, Induction) in Electric Vehicles, industrial drives, and power conversion systems. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will own motor control algorithms, real-time firmware architecture, and hardware-software integration while mentoring junior engineers.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Have Technical Skills
- 8-12 years in embedded firmware for motor control inverters/Power Electronics.
- Expertise in Embedded C (MISRA C compliant) and real-time systems
- Hands-on experience with motor control MCUs: Infineon AURIX, TI C2000, Renesas
- Deep knowledge of FOC, SVPWM, power electronics fundamentals
- Proven experience with SIL/HIL testing, motor dyno validation
Required Domain Knowledge
- EV traction inverters or industrial motor drives
- ISO 26262 functional safety concepts
- CAN/UDS communication stacks
- ASPICE process awareness
Tools & Methodologies
- Debug tools: oscilloscopes, JTAG, Lauterbach
- IDEs: Tasking, IAR, Code Composer Studio
- Version control: Git, SVN
