Backend Engineer

Role: Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Work in a scrum environment
2. Work at an extremely agile team in dynamic environments
3. Participate in our service development and cloud-based environments within R&D
4. Take part in infrastructure and system design
5. Use the latest technology and manage our high-performance, high-scale infrastructure on top of AWS and Google Cloud resources using multiple 3rd party modern development tools, such as Golang stack, K8s and Elasticsearch 
6. Ensure proper security, monitoring, alerting and reporting for our backend services
7. Work closely with our product team

Requirements

1. Have at least 2 years of mastery of at least 2 different server-side programming languages (GoLang is an advantage) - a must
2. Have significant experience creating and utilizing RESTful API and scalable performance systems - a must
3. Have experience working in a SaaS company
4. Have experience in infrastructure tools: K8s, Elasticsearch, Logstash - an advantage
5. Have experience with DevOps practices and technologies such as Terraform and Helm Chart - an advantage
6. Have experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and Elastic - an advantage
7. Have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern system design principles (preferred AWS or GCP) - an advantage
8. Have the ability to take responsibility and work independently with a "can do" attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills
