About the Role
We are seeking experienced Firefighting & Plumbing Design Engineers to join our growing building services team. The role involves design, coordination, and delivery of compliant firefighting and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, BIM exposure, and thorough knowledge of NBC and relevant international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Firefighting and Plumbing systems in compliance with NBC guidelines, international codes (NFPA, IS/IEC), and industry best practices.
- Perform system sizing and engineering calculations for plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Develop and coordinate 2D/3D drawings and BIM models using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs.
- Participate in clash detection and resolution activities.
- Prepare construction drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Provide technical support to site and construction teams during project execution.
- Attend design review and coordination meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Firefighting and Plumbing design for building services projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of NBC, NFPA, IS codes, and local authority requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- LEED / IGBC accreditation is an added advantage.
