Roles And Responsibilities
- Handling Vendor Management, Permit system, Compliances, Audits closure and Entire Fire &Safety system of building
- Lead and perform Fire officer’s activities for the building.
- Supporting and participating in Fire Drill & Emergency Evacuation Drill.
- Maintenance of Fire & Safety Equipment's.
- Vendor management & work permit system.
- Maintenance of fire Extinguishers as per IS 2190 standard.
- Conduct Training to Security & Employees on Fire & Safety Systems.
- Inspection and governance for ongoing Fire & Safety projects on site.
- Corrective and preventive action on Safety issues.
- Coordination for Fire & Safety and EHS Audits.
- Spread safety procedures & safety awareness across down team.
- Preparing plans and executing fire and life safety related training to the team members.
- Coordinate & Participate in Safety committee meeting.
- Performing equipment set up upon arrival at a fire scene.
- Dispatching and accompanying ERT (Emergency response Team).
- Participating in all near miss, incidents and accident investigation.
- Inspection and governance of fire and life safety equipment.
- Conducting EHS Induction training for newly joined TPV staff at Campus.
- Vendors work SWMS & work permits approval.
- Support and assume EHS Manager’s responsibilities if need arises.
- Coordinating and raising BOQ for Fire and safety requirements / follow up with vendors until completion of work.
- Coordination with Fire & Safety vendors for schedule PPMs / review and certify PPM reports.
- Coordination for Fire & Safety Compliance requirements.
Reporting:
- Responsible for daily reporting on fire systems to the EHS Manager.
- Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment.
- Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables.
- Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports.
Performance objectives
- Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts
- Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the EHS Manager.
Skills
Key skills
- Knowledge of Life Safety, policies and procedures.
- Will be highly familiar with the service structure, including responses to requests for assistance on Facilities Management issues from Client staff and arrangements pertaining to all operating expenditures.
- Well-groomed and presentable all the time.
- Good communication Skills.
