Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Kolkata Area for a Fire Protection Engineer. The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems and protocols. Daily tasks will include ensuring compliance with life safety codes, assessing fire risks, inspecting fire suppression systems, and collaborating with teams for safety improvements. The role involves supporting engineering projects, conducting safety analyses, and advising on fire protection best practices to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fire Protection Engineering, including the design and assessment of fire safety systems
- Experience in Life Safety and Fire Safety, with a strong ability to apply safety codes and standards
- Knowledge of Fire Suppression Systems, including their installation, inspection, and maintenance procedures
- Expertise in Safety Engineering, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications, such as NFPA or similar safety-related qualifications, are advantageous
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
