Role Description The Fire Projects Junior Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of fire protection projects. This role involves assisting in project engineering activities, preparing and reviewing technical drawings and documentation, and coordinating with senior engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure work is carried out as per design and safety standards. The Junior Engineer will support site supervision for installation, testing, and commissioning of fire hydrant, sprinkler, detection, and suppression systems, and help ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include tracking project progress, preparing reports, supporting material and resource planning, and participating in inspections and quality checks to maintain project timelines and safety requirements. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, such as scheduling, basic risk identification, documentation, and monitoring of project milestones.
- Candidates should possess Project Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards related to fire protection systems.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems, including basic understanding of wiring, panels, and controls.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) from a recognized institution.
