Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Chennai for a Fire & PHE Designer. The primary responsibilities include designing fire protection and public health engineering systems, preparing detailed drawings and layouts, collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. The role also involves preparing calculations, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project completion within timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fire Protection System design and Public Health Engineering (PHE) design
- Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards related to fire and PHE systems
- Ability to perform calculations and interpret technical documents accurately
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and clients
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: Prior experience in fire protection or public health engineering design
