Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor fire alarm panels and respond to alerts
• Patrol building/site to identify fire hazards and safety issues
• Operate fire extinguishers, hydrant hoses, and fire safety equipment during emergencies
• Assist in evacuation during fire incidents
• Check condition and availability of fire extinguishers and hydrant points
• Ensure fire exits, staircases, and emergency routes are clear
• Assist Fire & Life Safety Officer during inspections and fire drills
• Support fire brigade during emergency response or inspections
• Report fire hazards or equipment damage to the supervisor
• Maintain basic records of fire safety checks
Qualification:
• Fireman training certificate / Fire & Safety training
• Basic knowledge of fire safety equipment
Experience:
• 2–5 years in fire safety operations, security, or facility management preferred
• Ability to operate hydrants, extinguishers, and emergency equipment
Preferred:
• Experience in residential towers, malls, hospitals, or commercial buildings
• Basic understanding of fire safety guidelines such as the National Building Code of India
