Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Fire Fighting Technician. The technician will be responsible for installing, testing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire safety equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Additional tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining accurate maintenance logs, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service delivery. The role requires adhering to safety protocols and providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in installing and maintaining fire detection and suppression systems
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing fire safety equipment and systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in fire safety
- Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate service records
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks, including carrying equipment and climbing ladders
- Relevant technical certifications or training in fire safety technologies is considered an advantage
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional technical or vocational training preferred
